San Francisco Gales

Lasting for only one season in 1980, the San Francisco Gales (aka Golden Gate Gales) played in the ASL at Cal State Hayward. They wouldn’t have success on or off the field, though. They  had the worst record in the league at 8-14-5 in 1980 and attracted very small crowds at their games. That would be their only ASL season before folding.
