Minnesota Strikers
The Minnesota Strikers were founded in 1984 after moving to Minnesota from Florida and were a part of the final NASL season. The team didn't make the NASL playoffs that year but they did draw over 14,000 fans per game to the Metrodome. When the NASL folded, the Strikers moved indoors to the Met Center and played in the MISL. Their best season would be in 1986 as they almost won the championship in Spring 1986 before losing in the Finals to the San Diego Sockers. They would make the playoffs in each of their four indoor seasons, however the team would end up folding in 1988.
