Denver Dynamos
As Colorado’s first major professional soccer team, the Denver Dynamos played in the North American Soccer League (NASL) during the winter of 1973-1974 at Mile High Stadium. After finishing last in the Central Division and failing to make playoffs in 1975, the Dynamos struggled to get back into the groove.
As with many clubs, the Denver Dynamos changed ownership and were relocated, eventually moving to Minneapolis where they became the Minnesota Kicks in 1976. The team was pretty successful in Minnesota until they closed in 1981.
