Miami Toros
The Miami Toros were originally called the Miami Gatos, and rebranded for the 1973 NASL campaign. The team spent three seasons in the mid-70s playing at the Orange Bowl in Miami. Their best season came in 1974 when they made it all the way to the NASL final, where they would lose to the LA Aztecs on penalties. They would post another strong record in 1975, but by 1976 they were losing on the pitch and in the stands and a move became imminent. They would head to Ft. Lauderdale in 1977 and become the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
