Montreal Manic
Montreal Manic was Montreal's first professional soccer team since the NASL's Montreal Olympique folded in 1973. Founded in 1981, the Montreal Manic played in the North American Soccer League from 1981 - 1983 and defeated big teams like the Los Angeles Aztecs and Chicago Sting during the first playoff season. Sadly, their fan attendance fell in 1983 and the team folded that year.
